We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist / Material Handler to join our storage team. This position combines inventory control with hands-on warehouse responsibilities and is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized while working in a fast-paced environment.


The Inventory Specialist / Material Handler will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, researching discrepancies, receiving and organizing materials, and ensuring inventory is properly labeled and stored. This role will also assist with loading, unloading, staging, and moving materials throughout the facility using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory quantities and storage locations
  • Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventories
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Receive, inspect, label, and properly store incoming materials
  • Record inventory transfers and material movements accurately
  • Pick, stage, and prepare materials as needed
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient storage areas
  • Communicate inventory issues or shortages to warehouse leadership
  • Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous inventory, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills; experience with inventory or warehouse management systems is a plus
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of a warehouse position
