As a member of our Farmers Market Team, you'll play a key role in ensuring our bread reaches our loyal customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Transporting and setting up products for market events.
- Ensuring the safe handling and delivery of goods.
- Cash-handling responsibilities and daily closeout procedures
- Assisting with various market operations, including setup and takedown.
- Representing Small Axe Bread with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
- Working in collaboration with bakery team and owners to ensure smooth market days.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- At least 1 year of relevant customer service experience.
- The ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs comfortably.
- A reliable work ethic and punctuality.
- A clean driving record for safe and dependable transportation.
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset.
- Must be available for 90% of scheduled market days.
- Strong social skills and outgoing personality a plus!
- Knowledge of sourdough/fermentation a plus!
