What You'll Do (Job Responsibilities)
As a Cabinet Maker / Assembler, you will handle the precision assembly and professional finishing of custom cabinetry by:
- Assembling custom cabinets from prefabricated wood pieces using specialized hand and power tools.
- Trimming, sanding, and refining component parts to guarantee a seamless, high-end fit.
- Securing woodwork assemblies using screws, dowels, biscuits, heavy-duty adhesives, and woodworking clamps.
- Installing premium hardware including hidden hinges, custom handles, structural drawer slides, and specialty fixtures.
- Executing finishing processes such as precise edge banding, component filing, and overall inspection.
- Interpreting structural layouts by reading measurements flawlessly and working straight from shop specifications.
- Maintaining work site safety by ensuring a clean, highly organized, and efficient production floor.
What We Are Looking For (Job Requirements)
- Advanced Tool Mastery: High proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic air tools.
- Technical Layout Skills: Exceptional ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure.
- Proven Background: Strong professional woodworking, cabinetry manufacturing, or precision furniture assembly experience.
- Physical Stamina: Capacity to regularly lift 50+ lbs and stand comfortably for extended production shifts.
- Commitment to Quality: Sharp attention to detail with an intrinsic drive toward top-tier quality craftsmanship.
- Work Ethic: Strong communication skills paired with dependable, consistent daily attendance.
- Safety Requirement: Steel-toe boots are mandatory on the production floor.
