Cashier

• Texas Hamburger Company is hiring abled bodied individuals who would like to join our 20+ man crew in providing a clean atmosphere, quality service, and delicious products. We are hiring cashier at a pay rate of $9.50 dollars a hour with a per hour tip system which can add an .as a Team.
• Our hours of Staffing operation are Sunday- Thursday 09am-09pm Friday and Saturday 09am-10pm

Job requirements

1. Core Responsibilities: Accurately operate a Point of Sale (POS) system, handle cash and credit transactions, make change. Promptly clearing and cleaning tables, sweeping floors, cleaning up spills, restocking service stations with ice(fountain machine), certain dishes and silverware, taking out of trash(bags and boxes) assisting with making shakes, mangonadas, fresanada and the cutting and prepping of certain products.
2. Minimum requirements at least 16 years old, possess a basic Food Handler Safety Certificate, TABC certificate a plus (not a requirement) and have the physical stamina to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds. Will provide on the job training for first time workers in the industry.
3. Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting can be beneficial but is not mandatory
4. Soft Skills: Strong teamwork to collaborate with cashiers and kitchen staff, multitasking abilities under pressure, and basic customer service etiquette
