Responsibilities
- Provides supervisory support for Lead Lab Assistant and Lab Assistants at off site drawing facilities.
- Assures adequate training of staff and staffing levels.
- Communicates with lab supervisors and doctors' offices.
- Develops and maintains Outpatient Phlebotomy Policies and Procedures.
- Oversees inventory control at all off sites.
- Coordinates and develops lab assistants.
- Provides tools and training for lab assistants.
- Assists supervisor with general management functions.
- Functional Cooperation and Teamwork
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Multilingual desired but not required.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
Experience
- Minimum of one year clerical experience required in a medical/patient care setting.
- Experience using Hospital and Laboratory Information Systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel required.
- Experience in multiple technical disciplines desirable.
- Supervisory experience desirable.
- Customer Service experience desirable.

Compensation/Benefits
- $19.56-$31.94/hr depending on previous work experience.
