\tIn this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining software for network systems to support our Clinet Commercial Airplane 787 program. All projects center on the translation of concepts and customer requirements to specific architectures and operational specifications including the physical integration of electrical systems and components into our complex airplanes. Validate designs through both laboratory and airplane testing. Work with aircraft systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and through their production life. Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Designs hardware, software and interface specifications. Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs. Responsibilities may vary based on project assignments and team priorities; not all listed duties may be assigned to every individual in this role:
\tPosition Responsibilities:
\tDevelops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements
\tDesigns software and interface specifications
\tCoordination with customers on the development of software and interface specifications
\tTests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
\tSolves problems concerning fielded software over the entire product lifecycle
\tParticipate as a contributing member to any airplane installation designs and certification efforts for Network Systems and Airplane Programs
\tEngage with airline customers to understand their intended use of Network Systems
\tCreate software scripts to support and/or automate testing procedures and analysis
\t. Maintain configuration matrix for customer configurations and architectures
\t. Work engineering releases for airplane definition and options
\tRequirements:
\t1-3 years of software engineering experience
\tUnderstand software development and be able to recognize issues in documentation
\tPreferred experience with the below software:
\tpython, enovia PDM
\tDay to Day: Support 787 production and factory statement of work for software for the Network Systems design center. Manage configuration metric, build and release software, review documentation, testing/validation, etc.
