Toddler Teacher

Beach Montessori is seeking responsible and dependable assistant teachers for our infant, ones, and two's classrooms. As part of our team, you will be responsible for planning and leading engaging activities, observing and supervising playtime, and utilizing a variety of teaching techniques to promote learning and development. Effective communication with parents is also essential in understanding each child's background and needs.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.

Specific duties may include leading activities, supervising playtime, and employing a range of educational techniques to promote learning and development. Regular communication with parents is also crucial in understanding each child's background and needs.

• At least 6 months to one year of teaching experience with toddlers, infants, or young school-age children in the classroom.
• Dependable, reliable, flexible, loving, caring and overall a team player with a positive personality and is able to communicate well with children, parents, and the staff
• At least 18 years old of age

• Child Abuse Certification
• Virginia's 10 hour preservice training and the 3-hour update for the preservice training
• Health Screening Certification
• Childcare experience (at least 6 months)
• CPR Certification

• Part time and full time positions available.
