We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to join our growing team at Tiny Little Blessings! Our ideal candidate is someone who genuinely loves working with children and is eager to create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment for toddlers.
This is more than babysitting – we're looking for a teacher who is engaged, interactive, and passionate about helping children learn, grow, and thrive during some of the most critical developmental years.
Position Overview
The Lead Toddler Teacher will oversee daily classroom operations, implement engaging curriculum activities, maintain a clean and organized classroom, and foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.

What You'll Do
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a toddler classroom daily
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum and activities tailored to toddlers' needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Ensure proper supervision and engagement with children at all times
- Complete all required Brightwheel documentation in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with parents during drop-off/pick-up and through Brightwheel
- Adhere to all Tennessee DHS licensing regulations and center policies
- Assist with potty training, diapering, feeding, and classroom transitions
- Create a positive, loving, and structured classroom environment
- Collaborate with administration and fellow teachers to achieve common goals
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience working in a licensed childcare center is preferred
- Experience with toddlers is highly desirable
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Strong classroom management skills are essential
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate throughout the day
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background check requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- CDA, ECE coursework, or related experience is a plus
