Axia Care Center is actively seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Porter to join our Environmental Services team.

This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Position Details:

• Title: Housekeeping Porter

• Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

• Schedule: Full-time and Part-time opportunities available

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and facility grounds

• Remove waste and transport soiled linen appropriately

• Perform floor care, including buffing, stripping, and polishing floors

• Properly handle and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines

• Support environmental services and maintenance as needed

• Follow all safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Prior housekeeping/porter experience required

• Must be experienced in floor care (buffing, stripping, waxing)

• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage

• Ability to handle physical workload (lifting, pushing, standing for extended periods)

• Basic English communication required to follow instructions and safety protocols

• Reliable, punctual, and professional
