Our client is seeking a Land Associate to join its growing land asset management team in Dallas.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a land professional looking to expand their experience within land administration, title review, land agreements, operator relations, and asset management.

The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, relationship-building, and working directly with land records, agreements, operators, and ownership information.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Land Associate, you'll work closely with the land management team to support the administration and development of a diverse portfolio of oil and gas assets.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting day-to-day land asset management activities

• Maintaining relationships with operators, landowners, and business partners

• Reviewing, drafting, and proofreading land agreements and related documents

• Assisting with title review and ownership research

• Reviewing surveys, title instruments, and land documentation

• Preparing reports and analysis for internal stakeholders

• Tracking activity involving company-owned properties and adjacent lands

• Supporting negotiations and communications related to land matters

• Assisting with land records management and document organization

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in oil and gas land administration, title, leasing, mineral ownership, or related land functions

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Petroleum Land Management or related degree

• Registered Landman (RL) or Registered Professional Landman (RPL) designation

• Permian Basin experience

• Experience reviewing title and ownership documents

Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

Annual Bonus: 10-15%
