Job Description
AristaCare at Cedar Oaks in South Plainfield, NJ is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to help lead our nursing department. This is a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing role paying $125,000 per year at a well-established skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility known for its hands-on administration, open-door culture, and a team that knows every resident by name. Prior ADON experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is required.
Our Assistant Director of Nursing works side by side with the Director of Nursing (DON) to keep clinical operations running smoothly across our subacute rehab, long-term care, and memory care units. What You'll Do
Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in the day-to-day management of the nursing department
Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff across all units and shifts
Monitor clinical care quality, documentation, and compliance with state and federal regulations
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and nursing department operations
Step in for the Director of Nursing (DON) as needed
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
Prior Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) experience required
Skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) experience required
