Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:

• Assesses patients by physical examination including diagnostic testing to determine health status.
• Infection Prevention
• Antibiotic Stewardship
• Staff education
• Administer medication and treatments
• Participates in care planning and oversees the implementation of the plan
• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in condition
• Documents assessments and care
• Educates patients and families
• Supervises nursing department staff

Requirements for Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Valid New Jersey RN license
• Current CPR certification
