💼 Position Details

• Duration: 13-week contract (option to extend)

• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts

  • Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday

• Setting: Outpatient

• Licensure: Any active U.S. state license accepted

💰 Compensation

• $140 – $150/hour (1099)

🩺 Job Description

The Internal Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient clinical setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, managing both acute and chronic conditions, and promoting overall health and wellness within the community.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of adult medical conditions

• Manage chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease

• Perform routine physical exams, preventive care, and health screenings

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging

• Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment

• Provide patient education on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care

• Adhere to all clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory guidelines

'05; Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

• Active and unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state accepted)

• BLS & DEA required

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience (hospital setting preferred)

• Strong Internal Medicine background

• Clean malpractice history
