Groundskeeper - Multi-Family

Company OverviewAt Indigo Real Estate, we attribute much of our properties' successes to the strengths of our team members and we are seeking a Groundskeeper who is passionate about customer service and driven to succeed.Job Requirements:Responsible for maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the property (grounds, internal, exterior)Alerting the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Technician of any safety hazards on the propertyPromote good public relations with residents, co-workers, company employees, vendors, and goodwill to the public through a people-first approach and trust representing the brand and company.Perform building and common area upkeep on a daily basis in accordance with company standards. Responsible for keeping grounds neat and free of litter.Professional appearance and demeanorCreating a pristine and safe environmentAssist Maintenance technician and supervisor complete service requests as neededAlways display a friendly and courteous attitude and bring up any issues or concerns with the Manager privatelyComplete special projects as may be assigned and prioritized by Maintenance Supervisor and/or TechnicianAssist in maintaining shop organization and appearance to standards to facilitate the quick assessment of supply inventory.Inspect the exterior of the property.Perform, and report on, all work according to the safety standards of the company, OSHA, and health codes. Perform work area clean-up on a weekly basis.Other Preferred Requirements:Physical: Extensive mobility and excellent physical condition. Ability to lift 100 lbs. necessary for moving and operating equipment.Ability to operate all necessary hand tools to make repairs. Ability to kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, etc. to reach items in need of repairs.Ability to drive to and from job sites.Tolerance to all extremes of hot and cold weather, as may be necessary.Tools: Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of the following:Hand tools: Various wrenches, screwdrivers, grips, sledgehammers, hammers, snips, post hole diggers, saws, etc.Power Tools: Wrenches, grinder, sander, drill, saws, etc.User-Moved Aids: Wheelbarrows, dollies, hand trucks, buckets, hoists, jacks, stepladders, full ladders, double ladders.Mechanical Equipment: Motors, pumps, compressors, blowers, electric and hand-powered augers, etc.Transportation: Must have a dependable vehicle.
