Property Damage Restoration Specialist

A day on the recovery team

Sunrise to sign-off, you’re the go-to pro who brings homes and businesses back from fire, water, mold, and other damage. You’ll move from assessment to action: setting up equipment, making safe work areas, removing impacted materials, and restoring spaces so clients can get back to normal—safely and quickly.

What you’ll take on

• Restore properties impacted by water, fire, smoke, and mold—stabilize, clean, and rebuild affected areas to pre-loss condition.
• Operate hand and power tools as well as construction equipment to perform repairs, drying, dehumidification, and cleanup.
• Carry out specialized cleaning including carpet care and asbestos abatement as needed for each project.
• Support demolition, debris removal, and targeted structural repairs during mitigation and rebuild phases.
• Apply restoration-industry standards to drive quality craftsmanship and maintain strict safety and compliance.
• Follow all safety protocols while setting up, using, and maintaining equipment.
• Document activities, materials, and progress and keep both teammates and clients informed throughout the job.

What you bring

• Hands-on experience in property restoration or related trades such as construction or professional cleaning.
• Working knowledge of water mitigation, fire/smoke cleanup, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and carpet cleaning (preferred).
• Confidence using hand tools, power tools, and related equipment safely and effectively.
• Sharp problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-moving environment.
• Physical readiness for manual tasks: lifting, bending, and working in tight or confined areas.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job locations.
• Growth mindset—eager to learn, adapt to different loss types, and cross-train; training provided for qualified candidates.
• Familiarity with restoration standards is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
