Job Summary:
Riverstone Post Acute is seeking a skilled PRN CMA to join our compassionate team in Salina, KS. As a vital member of our healthcare family, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with patient care activities such as vital sign measurements, medication administration, and wound care
Perform various medical procedures as delegated by licensed nursing staff, including taking and recording vital signs and lab samples
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate's degree preferred
Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred; minimum of 0 years of experience required
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
