What You’ll Be Doing

As a Field Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering top-notch service to our customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Transporting patients by wheelchair or stretcher to/from appointments, hospitals, rehab facilities, etc., always maintaining a positive and constructive attitude.
  • Ensuring vehicles are safe and clean.
  • Maintaining a broad knowledge base of partner requirements regarding entry, locations, preferences, etc.
  • Striving to ensure all appointments are on-time and wait times are reduced on return trips.
  • Complying with all Caliber procedures, safety rules, guidelines and standards.
  • Performing other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business 
  • Providing a personable and friendly experience to both internal and external customers.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and a positive, compassionate approach to customer service.
  • Adapting to various working conditions, including outdoor environments and vehicle-based tasks.
What We’re Looking For

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed in this role:


Education:
  • High school diploma or GED.
Driving Requirements:
  • Should be at least 25 years old with a valid driver’s license and must have a minimum of five (5) years of driving history.
  • Must be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy (must not be an excluded driver).
Skills and Attributes:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Friendly and compassionate demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and understand basic assignment instructions.
Physical Requirements:
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, or dry).
  • Ability to meet vision requirements for driving, including at night.
  • Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and sitting for extended periods while driving.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms.
