Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations and help ensure our facilities, equipment, and systems remain safe, efficient, and reliable. This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, supporting team performance, and partnering with other departments to minimize downtime and maintain a productive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance team members and outside contractors as needed.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Prioritize work orders, assign tasks, and monitor completion to ensure timely service.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support troubleshooting and repair efforts for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts usage.
  • Help manage inventory of tools, supplies, and replacement parts.
  • Promote and enforce safety procedures, regulatory compliance, and best practices.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff to support skill development and consistent performance.
  • Collaborate with operations, production, and leadership teams to support business needs and reduce downtime.
  • Assist with budgeting, vendor coordination, and project planning related to maintenance operations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification is preferred.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related technical field.
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and equipment repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems or similar software.
  • Certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, welding, or another technical specialty.
  • Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
