Senior Accountant | $75K–$85K | Onsite | Kearney, NE| Direct Hire

If you're a strong accountant who enjoys going beyond the close to understand what’s driving the numbers, this role offers the opportunity to do just that. You’ll combine general accounting, financial analysis, and cost accounting while partnering across the business to improve performance, strengthen processes, and provide meaningful financial insight.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze costs, margins, and performance trends to help leadership make smarter business decisions
- Own key reconciliations and financial reporting activities to keep the books accurate and reliable
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close while gaining broad exposure to the business
- Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance
- Improve accounting processes, reporting, and ERP accuracy to make the finance function more efficient
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and month-end close experience
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statements
- Strong analytical skills with experience researching and explaining financial variances
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working within ERP/accounting systems
- Public accounting/audit or manufacturing accounting experience highly preferred
