Responsibilities of a Dietary Aide:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals following dietary guidelines and portion control.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.
- Collaborate with the dietary team to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain inventory of dietary supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications of a Dietary Aide:
- Previous experience as a Dietary Aide or similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
