Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, light cleaning in the home, or assisting with personal care
- keeping records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
- Remind client of medications and meal prep
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities
- Graduated from an accredited nurse assistant program
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year prior professional experience
- Driver’s license required & insurance
- CPR certification required or willing to
