Early Childhood - Assistant Director

The Assistant Director is responsible for ensuring the well-being and educational quality of all children within the center's care, under the supervision of the Center Director. The role involves collaborating with staff to deliver curriculum and activities effectively and meet the needs of students while aligning with the center's objectives.

• Step in as the Acting Center Director and Teachers in their absence to maintain continuity.
• Work closely with staff to uphold the center's quality standards, making adjustments as necessary to stay compliant with guidelines and regulations.
• Engage with families and the community through various outreach initiatives.
• Strictly adhere to all center policies and state regulations.
• Develop and implement a personal plan for professional growth and continuous improvement.

• Must possess 3 – 5 years of direct professional experience in early childhood settings with opportunities for growth.
• High energy levels are essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A thorough understanding of child development principles.
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Current certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid.
• Clear full background check.
• Pass a health screening.

A certification in the Child Development Associate (CDA) program or holding an Associate's or Bachelor's degree would be advantageous.
