Job Description
Picture this: a vehicle rolls in after a morning route with a driver-reported electrical fault. You hook up modern diagnostic tools, trace the issue through wiring and modules, complete the repair, and verify the fix on a post-service test drive. Later, you assist on a transmission rebuild, document every part and minute used, arrange the required inspection, and then head out for a road call to get a vehicle safely back in service. That’s impact.
What You’ll Do- Diagnose and repair medium-duty fleet vehicles across steering, electrical, cooling, lubrication, braking, drivetrains, suspensions, power steering units, clutches, and transmissions—meeting all applicable Federal, State/Provincial, and local requirements.

- Execute preventive maintenance, perform test drives during PMs to investigate driver-reported issues, and confirm repairs with post-service road tests.

- Respond to road calls and complete on-the-road repairs when assigned.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area and immediately advise the Lead Technician of any unsafe conditions, practices, or vehicle abuse.
- Work the assigned shift and overtime as needed (AM/PM).
- 2–4 years of experience as a medium/heavy truck fleet technician.
- Expertise in diagnostics, electrical, and AC systems.
- Strong grasp of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment; experience with both diesel and gasoline systems.
