As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional dietary services.
Responsibilities:
Prepares tray line and sets up for food/meal service while maintaining residents' therapeutic diets prescribed by the attending physician.
Performs dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Serves prepared food to residents in the dining room, adhering to infection control principles.
Assists in food storage, preparation, and production, using required kitchen equipment.
Provides substitutes to residents as requested and with the approval of the dietary supervisor.
Disposes of garbage and refuse, and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED.
Ability to read and understand applicable dietary documents and emergency procedures.
Sufficient verbal and written communication skills to perform the tasks required.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, frequently bend, lean, squat, and reach, and frequently push and pull up to 30 pounds.
