Job Description:Support a technology development portfolio by coordinating strategic programs, portfolio initiatives, governance, executive reporting, dependency management, and cross-functional follow-up to ensure priorities and deliverables remain on track.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day management and coordination of a technology development portfolio
  • Gather and consolidate project status, development priorities, milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Coordinate with 10–15 internal and external stakeholders, including technology teams and third-party vendors
  • Create and maintain portfolio plans, workplans, governance materials, status reports, and executive-level presentations
  • Facilitate recurring planning and status meetings and ensure action items are documented and followed through to completion
  • Track project dependencies, risks, deliverables, timelines, and cross-functional priorities
  • Prepare accurate project and portfolio updates for leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Coordinate business readiness activities related to larger-scale technology updates and portfolio initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with business, technology, leadership, and vendor stakeholders to keep initiatives on track
  • Identify potential roadblocks and proactively follow up with appropriate stakeholders to drive resolution
  • Maintain highly accurate project documentation, reporting, and planning materials

Minimum Requirements :

  • 5–7 years of Project Management, Program Management, Portfolio Management, PMO, or related experience
  • Experience supporting technology, software, IT, or development-focused projects/programs
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects, workstreams, priorities, or stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong experience gathering project status and maintaining project/portfolio reporting
  • Experience creating workplans, status reports, presentations, governance materials, or other project planning artifacts
  • Experience tracking project risks, dependencies, milestones, action items, and deliverables
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and follow-up skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to ensure reporting/data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable working onsite in Owings Mills, MD 4 days per week
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Financial services experience
  • Experience working within a PMO or portfolio governance environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Visio
  • Experience coordinating with external technology vendors
  • PMP or PMI certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
