CDR General Services is seeking a dependable and versatile Bilingual Shipping General Laborer to join the shipping team in Port Allen, LA. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, flexible with changing priorities, and able to support different tasks within the shipping department.

Job Details
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Port Allen, LA
  • Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Package and label products accurately and safely.
  • Perform quality checks before products are shipped.
  • Prepare packages for scheduled carrier pickups.
  • Assist with inventory and stock levels.
  • Operate simple machinery to build shipping boxes.
  • Fill and prepare packages according to established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Assist other areas of the shipping department as needed.
  • Work occasional weekends and overtime when required.

Requirements
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • No previous experience required; training will be provided.
  • Able to follow instructions and learn new tasks quickly.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
  • Comfortable working in hot and humid conditions.
  • Basic computer skills are a plus.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and prepared for daily tasks.
  • Must follow all safety and security procedures.
  • Ability to read and write in English may be required for certain positions.
