Hours: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
**POSITION TYPE:** Full-time, non-exempt
A day in this role
You arrive on the paint line and review the work orders queued for the shift. With a clear plan, you stage incoming parts, prepare racks, and position bundles to keep the booth running smoothly. As batches cycle through, you attach lifting fixtures, signal the crane or hoist, and guide loads precisely to their destinations. You verify counts, record movement, and band completed bundles so finished parts are ready for the next step. Throughout the shift, you handle heavy components safely—sometimes by hand, often with powered assist—keeping the pace steady and the quality high.
What you'll make happen- Interpret work orders and verbal direction to determine what to load, unload, or position near the paint booth.
- Attach proper lifting devices to parts and move materials to and from designated areas using hoists/cranes as needed.
- Accurately count, track, and document units moved.
- Stack or assemble components into bundles; apply bands to secure them for safe transport.
- Lift and maneuver heavy parts by hand or with power assist equipment to turn and stage items for coating.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with forklifts or overhead cranes preferred.
- Physical capability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and, at times, more than 100 lbs when turning parts based on part size and geometry.
- Clear, cooperative communication and strong interpersonal skills.
