Dietary Director

The Food Service Supervisor is a full time position responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, budgeting, inventory, ordering, and physical management of the dietary departments employees and equipment that shall be maintained in accordance with the facility’s established policies and in compliant with all governmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Must have current certification as a Certified Dietary manager . (CDM).

• Knowledgeable in Food Service Sanitation (must have food service sanitation certificate)

• Must have experience in a Nursing Facility

Responsibilities

• Able to assess the nutritional care of residents and address residents nutritional risk

• Ensures responsibility for the quality and quantity of food served via menu program, production systems and food specifications

• Responsible for initial, quarterly, annual, and significant change assessments

• Oversees that meals are prepared and served on schedule

• Inservice/orients, trains and develops staff to maintain a high level of performance

• Maintains the Dietary Department in regulatory compliance

• Must be familiar with the MDS and Care plans

• Detail oriented, Team player, Customer Service,
