Customer Service Representative
Our recruiting firm is partnering with a well-established and growing Youngstown manufacturer to identify a Customer Service Representative for their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working cross-functionally to support both customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, pricing updates, and account support
- Manage the order process from entry through fulfillment while ensuring accuracy and timely communication
- Resolve customer concerns and follow up to ensure a positive customer experience
- Support forecasting, inventory planning, and customer-specific programs
- Coordinate with internal departments including Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Engineering to meet customer requirements
- Maintain accurate customer records and proactively communicate updates as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve service levels and strengthen customer relationships
Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service, account management, inside sales support, or order management experience within a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing industry experience is required
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP and/or CRM systems is preferred
- Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, or distribution customers is highly desirable
