Schedule: Monday – Friday 7/7:30 am - 3:30-4:30 pm in general, with some flexibility

Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small-team environment, takes ownership of their work, and is always looking for ways to make processes more efficient and effective.



Responsibilities

· Manage the day-to-day accounts receivable process, including customer invoicing, account maintenance, and payment application

· Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices accurately and timely

· Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with customers on outstanding balances

· Conduct customer collections and maintain professional, effective communication with customers regarding past-due invoices

· Create AR aging reports, create and maintain saved searches, and analyze customer/account information

· Reconcile customer accounts and assist with month-end close activities

· Partner with internal teams to transition responsibilities to appropriate parties

· Maintain accurate customer records and documentation

· Identify opportunities to improve AR processes, reporting, and workflows

· Support other accounting and finance activities as needed in a small-team environment



Requirements

Qualifications

· 5+ years of accounts receivable experience

· Hands-on experience with NetSuite, including reporting and creating saved searches

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Excellent communication and follow-up skills

· Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a small team

· Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of accountability

· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

· A continuous-improvement mindset with an interest in finding better, more efficient ways to work

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
