What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that is both engaging and aligned with early learning standards.

Lead by example, setting high standards for yourself and inspiring your team to excel through coaching, mentoring, and support.

Create and facilitate age-appropriate activities that cater to diverse learning styles, promote socialization, and encourage cognitive, emotional, and physical growth.

Maintain open communication channels with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in the learning process whenever possible.

Ensure the classroom environment is safe, healthy, and conducive to learning, adhering to all center policies and state regulations.

Stay on top of administrative tasks, including record-keeping, form completion, and filing, as well as your own professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.



Requirements

Requirements

Must clear full background check, fingerprinting, and must pass health screening

Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to be trained)

Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.

Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

A strong understanding of child development.

High energy.

Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience but willing to train the right candidate

Knowledge of Grow NJ, CDA or Equivalent preferred, Creative Curriculum Training
