Discovery Point Silverthorn is hiring a Part-Time School-Age Teacher!
We are looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable team member who enjoys working with school-age children and creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of school-age children
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities
- Assist with homework and daily routines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and positive classroom
- Communicate professionally with children, families, and staff
- Follow all DCF regulations and center policies
Requirements:
- Must meet Florida DCF childcare employment and training requirements
- Previous childcare or school-age experience preferred
- Reliable, responsible, and energetic
- Must pass required background screening
