Job Description

Director of Operations for our Children's Behavioral Health Organization

Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 Annual Salary Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, PTO, and paid holidays.

Are you a supervision-designated clinician who would rather run the operation than carry a caseload? We are looking for a DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS for our Children's Behavioral Health Organization in the Cleveland, OH area who knows how to build systems, hold a team to a standard, and make a growing organization run. We are offering COMPETITIVE PAY with AMAZING BENEFITS and REAL OWNERSHIP of the operation.

Position Description

You will own the day to day operation of a pediatric behavioral health program serving children ages 4 to 12 across a clinic, an after school site and a set of partner schools. Clinical care and clinical supervision of the therapy team are owned separately, which keeps your focus on census and referral flow, scheduling and caseload utilization, documentation and billing compliance, credentialing, audit readiness, staffing coverage and partner relationships. You will also set the performance standard for the team and hold people to it, working alongside clinical leadership to keep the program productive and growing.

Qualifications

  • Active Ohio supervision designation required: LISW-S, LPCC-S or IMFT-S
  • 3+ years in an operations, program or clinical leadership role within behavioral health or a related setting
  • Demonstrated experience managing licensed staff, including performance and accountability conversations
  • Working knowledge of Medicaid documentation, medical necessity and billing compliance
  • Comfort operating across multiple sites

Responsibilities

  • Run daily operations across all sites, including scheduling, staffing coverage, utilization and workflow
  • Set and enforce productivity and documentation standards, and address underperformance directly
  • Own compliance, credentialing and audit readiness, and keep billing clean
  • Manage referral intake and census growth, and maintain school and community partner relationships
  • Partner with clinical leadership so that clinical quality and operational performance move together

If you hold your supervision designation and want to run the business and drive the team without carrying the clinical load, we want YOU to apply!
