Vector Talent Solutions is a veteran-owned workforce solutions firm dedicated to helping organizations identify, attract, and hire top We are currently seeking a EHS Manager for a client within the automotive manufacturing industry.

Position Overview

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs that ensure compliance with applicable regulations and promote a safe and sustainable workplace. This role partners with leadership, employees, contractors, and regulatory agencies to drive continuous improvement in safety performance, environmental stewardship, and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS policies, procedures, and management systems to support regulatory compliance and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations, including required permits, reporting, recordkeeping, and programs such as OSHA logs, air emissions, wastewater, hazardous waste, and related compliance activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments, facility audits, inspections, and incident investigations, and drive corrective and preventive actions to reduce risk and improve workplace safety and environmental performance.
  • Oversee EHS training, emergency response planning, safety committees, workers' compensation, and employee engagement initiatives to promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.
  • Manage EHS budgets, performance metrics, KPIs, and departmental priorities while supporting leadership, mentoring supervisors, and maintaining alignment with HTGSS values, ISO standards, and internal policies.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations, including compliance reporting and permitting requirements.
  • Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
  • Expertise in environmental compliance programs, including waste, air emissions, wastewater, hazardous materials, and sustainability/ESG initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and influence teams across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and continuous improvement skills, with a track record of organizing priorities, solving problems proactively, and driving measurable EHS results.

Compensation: ($85,000 - $105,000)
