A well-established independent insurance agency in Burlington, NJ is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager or CSR to join their growing team. This role involves servicing an existing book of personal lines accounts and delivering top-tier service to clients.
We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to upsell or cross-sell where appropriate to enhance coverage and client protection. You’ll work closely with producers to manage renewals, respond to client inquiries, and ensure seamless service from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a portfolio of personal lines accounts (home, auto, boat, umbrella, etc.)
- Provide timely responses to client requests regarding coverage, policy changes, and billing
- Identify bundling and upsell opportunities to improve client protection and satisfaction
- Process renewals, endorsements, certificates, binders, and new claims
- Market and quote new business and account renewals using carrier rating tools
- Serve as a liaison between clients, producers, and insurance carriers
Qualifications:
- Active NJ Property & Casualty license (required)
- 3–5 years of personal lines experience in an independent agency setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and industry software
- Prior experience with Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360 is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with high-net-worth clients is a plus
