American Egg Board's mission is to increase demand for eggs and egg products through research, education and promotion.

The American Egg Board (AEB) was created by an Act of Congress in 1976 at the request of America’s egg farmers, who desired to pool resources for national category-level egg marketing.

Home to The Incredible Egg and Egg Nutrition Center, AEB is dedicated to increasing demand for all U.S. eggs and egg products. For more than 40 years, America’s egg farmers have supported this mission by funding the AEB. The AEB is 100 percent farmer-funded, and those funds directly support the research, education and promotion necessary to market eggs.


The Senior Graphic Designer serves as AEB's visual brand steward, responsible for maintaining a consistent and compelling creative presence across the enterprise. This role combines strategic brand thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring all creative output reflects AEB's mission and messaging across all platforms and audiences. The ideal candidate is an experienced designer who can own AEB's brand standards while producing high-quality creative across a wide range of mediums.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Own and enforce AEB's brand standards, maintaining a comprehensive style guide that governs visual identity, templates and creative standards across all channels and audiences.
  • Support all creative and design needs across AEB departments including Marketing, Communications, Innovation, Business Development, Insights, Scientific Research, Industry Affairs and Administration.
  • Create high-quality materials across all mediums including graphics, infographics, email templates, website imagery, social graphics, animated content, fact sheets, presentation decks and multimedia content.
  • Lead creative development for all producer and farmer-facing events including Board meetings and White House Easter Egg Roll, overseeing all event branding and on-site materials.
  • Design and manage AEB's printed and digital annual report.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise administrative creative standards including business cards, letterhead, PowerPoint templates and email templates.
  • Partner with communications and marketing teams to ensure creative consistency across earned, owned and paid channels.
  • Manage external creative vendors as needed.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously elevate AEB's creative output.

QUALIFICATIONS

In addition, the following qualification will be needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts or a related field.
  • 5-7+ years of graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects across multiple mediums.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint at an executive presentation level.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms including Salesforce Email Design and MailChimp.
  • Video editing and animation skills preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and enforce brand standards across a complex organization.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with the ability to work across departments.
  • Experience in food, agriculture, nonprofit or commodity board environments a plus.

TRAVEL

This position requires approximately 25% travel.
