Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Level 4 Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) to join a high-performing clinical team at the Cherokee Nation Outpatient Health Center. This role requires a skilled perioperative nurse with strong surgical support experience, excellent patient care standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room before, during, and after surgical procedures
Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and sterile field in compliance with safety protocols
Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state or compact, as applicable)
Minimum 2–3 years of recent Operating Room (OR) experience
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
Ability to work independently and within a team
BLS certification (required)
ACLS certification (preferred)
