Duties
  • Clinical Leadership: Lead multi-disciplinary inpatient treatment teams, providing expert guidance on psychiatric care and ward management.

  • Specialized Treatment: Prescribe and review advanced psychopharmacological treatments tailored to individual patient needs.

  • Assessment & Evaluation: Certify the medical necessity of hospital-level care and perform ongoing assessments of patient responses to treatment.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and review comprehensive release plans or provide clinical justification for continued inpatient status.

  • Expert Consultation: Provide specialized care within forensic services, civil admission wards, and long-term care units.

  • Collaborative Care: Partner with a diverse staff of professionals to ensure a holistic, patient-centered approach to behavioral health.

Required Qualifications
  • Professional License: An active, unrestricted Psychiatrist License.

  • Education: Successful completion of an ACGME-approved residency in Psychiatry.

  • Clinical Expertise: Strong psychopharmacology skills and a deep understanding of inpatient psychiatric protocols.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse professional teams and various patient populations.

Desired Qualifications
  • Board Certification: Highly encouraged (includes an additional financial incentive).

  • Mission Alignment: A commitment to fairness, access, and social justice, with an interest in serving historically marginalized communities.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Initial Target Salary: $311,424

  • Incentives: $10,000 New Hire Sign-on Bonus + $10,000 for Board Certification.

  • Premium Pay: Eligible for an additional 5% premium pay for on-site work (at least 3 days/week).

  • Financial Support: Relocation assistance and a Loan Forgiveness Program (up to $25,000 for qualifying employees).

  • Professional Development: $6,500 annual allowance for Continuing Medical Education (CME).

  • Work-Life Balance: No mandatory call; voluntary on-call is paid at 1.25x regular pay.
