Position Summary:
We’re seeking a reliable, experienced Line Cook who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in preparing high-quality soul food. This role requires speed, consistency, and a strong sense of teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  
  
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
  
  
• Assist with prep work, plating, and kitchen tasks as needed
  
  
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
  
  
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff
  
  
• Adapt quickly to busy rushes and large catering orders
  
  

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen (soul food or catering experience a plus!)
  
  
• Ability to follow recipes and take direction
  
  
• Strong sense of urgency and time management
  
  
• Comfortable working in a team and under pressure
  
  
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
  
  
• Food handler’s certification (or willing to obtain)
