Bartender

Purpose: A Bartender is a service professional who prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. They can assess a customer's requests and like to make great recommendations.Responsibilities:Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patronsInteract with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinksAssess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendationsMix ingredients to prepare cocktailsCheck customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking ageClean, restock and replenish bar inventory and suppliesStay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experienceComply with all food and beverage regulationsRequirements and Skills:Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender preferredExcellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks preferredComputer literateKnowledge of a second language is a plusPositive attitude and excellent communication skillsAbility to keep the bar organized, stocked and cleanRelevant training certificate required before commencing workSafe Serve certification & WI ABC card preferred. If no card and certification, course will have to be completed on property before starting work.Education:High School Diploma or GED requiredEssential Functions:While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk and hear. The employee is required to walk; climb and descend stairs, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on their own. This position requires continuous ability to remember information and verbally communicate clearly.
