8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday!Position Summary: The purpose of this leadership role is to function as a part of the management team to ensure product order fulfillment, including managing the order picking process. The Mid-Shift Warehouse Supervisor will assist the Warehouse Manager as needed with various other responsibilities to support the warehouse operations, including promoting a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with governmental regulatory agencies and company policies and procedures. This role will also provide coaching and training in order to achieve key performance objectives.Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, Employee Assistance Program, etc.Essential Job FunctionsOversee picking and loading activities to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient delivery of product to customer account and assist as needed Provide coaching, training and motivation to new and existing warehouse associates Assist the Warehouse Manager with monthly physical counts and reconcile any variances Communicate, implement, and enforce company policies and procedures Communicate and resolve inventory and service issues Count and verify incoming product from daily routes as needed Perform end of day procedures including preparing handhelds for next day deliveries Responsible for picking, operating forklift, and moving trucks as neededLoad transports for delivery to customer accounts Receive, unload, consolidate and re-stock product and shells Coordinate intercompany transfers of product Restock and repack damaged and out-of-date products Receive and distribute incoming FedEx and UPS shipments Collect mileage and hour meter readings from all vehicles and equipment Secure building and all trucks at end of day Coordinate warehouse daily cleaning activities Perform other duties as necessaryQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentKnowledge of warehouse operationsAbility to obtain a valid forklift and pallet jack certificationBasic knowledge of computersEffective oral and written communication skillsCustomer service skillsSkills in critical thinking, problem solving and judgement and decision makingSkills in organizing and prioritizing work and tasksAbility to provide attention to detailAbility to work with othersAbility to multitaskProper lifting techniquesWorking EnvironmentWork generally takes place in a warehouse setting. Exposure to hot indoor temperatures during summer months.
