Location: New York, NY
Work Arrangement: Hybrid — 3 days onsite or more as needed, 2 days remote

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong expertise in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining applications and services built primarily on the Microsoft technology stack.

The role requires the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain:
  • Web applications
  • APIs
  • Web services
  • Windows services
  • Windows desktop applications
• Configure and manage Internet Information Services (IIS), including:
  • Application pools
  • Site bindings
  • SSL certificate installation and renewal
• Use Git Bash for repository cloning, branch management, and pulling code updates.
• Build, troubleshoot, and debug applications across development, QA, and production environments.
• Perform unit testing and regression testing to ensure application functionality, stability, and quality.
• Configure connection strings, application settings, environment variables, and other deployment-related configurations.
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server to develop queries and stored procedures and perform basic database maintenance.
• Work with Oracle databases and SQL development as required.
• Utilize front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap to support application interfaces.
• Collaborate with team members using Jira for sprint planning, task tracking, and Agile workflow management.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow appropriate version-control practices and branching strategies.
• Ensure applications are properly configured and deployment-ready across multiple environments.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
• Strong experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL development.
• Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of IIS, including application pools, site bindings, and SSL certificates.
• Experience with Git/Git Bash and source-control workflows.
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Experience working with Jira in an Agile development environment.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a development team.
