On Call Flex Officer

Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Job Summary: Silver Shield Inc. currently seeking dedicated and experienced On- Call Security Officers to join our team. The on-call officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and knowledge of law enforcement procedures.

On-Call Flex Officers will be on-call Monday through Friday throughout the Corpus area.

• Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Foot Patrol and walking up and down stairs.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors in emergency situations.
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Skills:

• Strong surveillance skills to effectively monitor premises.
• Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, including arrest techniques and legal rights.
• CPR certification and first aid training to provide immediate medical assistance if needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience as an Officer or in a similar role preferred
• Must possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle to post in
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Must have active Level III guard card.
