Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and approachable Campus Attendant to join our team at Riverside Commons in Dearborn, MI. As a Campus Attendant, you will serve as a welcoming presence for residents, visitors, vendors, and staff while maintaining a safe and secure environment throughout the campus. This part-time role combines reception responsibilities with routine campus monitoring and customer service. Responsibilities:
Greet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
Monitor visitor sign-in procedures and facility access as required
Conduct scheduled interior and exterior rounds of the campus
Observe and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, or security issues
Complete routine security logs and incident reports accurately and promptly
Assist with emergency communications and coordination while maintaining personal safety
Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the campus
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, healthcare, or security preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong observational skills and sound judgment
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email
Ability to work independently while remaining an active member of the campus team
