Job Summary:
Berrien Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of healthcare services in Nashville, GA, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Aid to join our team. Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dietary department, including washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and restocking supplies
Monitor and control food temperatures to ensure food safety and quality
Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and colleagues
Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure smooth operation of the department
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager and/or Director of Dietary Services
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in a dietary or healthcare setting preferred
Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
