TestCo1 is seeking a Product Designer to support product design efforts for an onsite engagement in Mountain View, CA.

Position Summary

This contract engagement calls for a Product Designer to help shape user-centered product experiences from concept through delivery. You will collaborate to translate product goals into clear design direction, supporting end-to-end design workflows and contributing to design artifacts that enable effective build and iteration.

The work will focus on delivering thoughtful, usable, and consistent user experiences across key product surfaces, while partnering with stakeholders to refine requirements and validate design decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and iterate product designs for key user flows, from early concepts to refined UI and interaction details

• Develop design documentation and artifacts such as wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design specifications

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, constraints, and user needs

• Incorporate feedback to improve usability, accessibility, and overall user experience quality

• Ensure design consistency across product areas by applying established design patterns and standards

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience designing product experiences, including creating wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI

• Strong understanding of user-centered design practices and the ability to translate needs into clear design concepts

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and incorporate feedback

• Solid grasp of usability principles and basic accessibility considerations

• Portfolio that reflects end-to-end product design work and thoughtful problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in agile product environments with iterative delivery

• Familiarity with product discovery activities such as user research synthesis and defining experience requirements

• Knowledge of design systems and the ability to contribute to consistent component usage

• Comfort presenting design rationales and facilitating design reviews

Compensation

Hourly rate: $20/hr
