Lead Toddler Teacher

Building Foundations Learning Academy is looking for an energetic, nurturing, and dependable Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team! If you're passionate about helping young children learn through play, creating engaging classroom experiences, and making a lasting impact on families, we'd love to meet you!

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Conduct daily observations and document children's developmental progress
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Ensure classroom compliance with Bright from the Start regulations and Quality Rated standards
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom
• Supervise indoor and outdoor activities using active supervision at all times
• Support potty training and daily care routines
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and administration
• Create an environment where children feel loved, respected, and excited to learn each day

• CDA (Child Development Associate) or Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education
• Experience working with toddlers (ages 1-3)
• Knowledge of Georgia's GELDS
• Familiarity with Georgia Quality Rated standards
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication with families and coworkers
• Reliable, professional, and positive attitude
