What you will be doing:
- Apply specialized training to deliver world-class health with human connection.
- Assess, identify appropriate nursing diagnoses, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care.
- Develop, update, and coordinate the patient's plan of care to achieve patient goals and optimize outcomes.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Perform and maintain currency of essential competencies as required by specific area of hire and populations served.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs.
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Facilitate formal and informal learning for patients/families, nursing, other members of the healthcare team, and community.
- Align practice with safety and quality, identify and correct problems, and integrate evidence and best practice into nursing care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and practice to the top of license within legal parameters.
- Promote a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates, and disseminates research and evidence-based practice.
- Lead and coordinate teams, appropriately delegate, coordinate care, and collaborate with others as equal members of the inter-professional care team.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
- 1 year of nursing experience in a NICU environment as a RN.
