2-year-old Teacher

We're seeking a dedicated early childhood educator to join our 2-year-old classroom team, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our toddlers. Ideal candidates possess excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and a passion for creating engaging learning experiences. They will support young children's social, emotional, and cognitive development while adhering to our daycare's policies and DSS guidelines.

• Plan and lead activities tailored to 2-year-olds' needs and interests.
• Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Support children's daily routines, including mealtime, snacks, and potty training.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care and education.
• Supervise and ensure the well-being of 2-year-old children during activities and daily routines.
• Adhere to daycare and DSS policies, protocols, and procedures.

• Must pass a background check prior to hiring.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification (if not already current).
• A patient, dependable, and nurturing personality is essential for this role.
• Experience, while not mandatory, is a strong asset for this position.

• Preferably, candidates should have prior experience working with young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Candidates must be comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of DSS requirements is beneficial.
• Effective problem-solving skills are a plus.
• Previous experience in potty training can be advantageous.
