Automation Technician 2nd & 3rd Shifts
Hours: 2nd shift 4pm-12am and 3rd shift 12am-8am
Pay: Up to $33 w/$2 Shift Differential
Location: Hickory
Climate controlled manufacturing facility

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all company and regulatory safety and environmental protocols to ensure the safety of all team members.
- Monitor equipment and processes to identify issues impacting quality and efficiency; diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance plans for equipment and processes.
- Build and repair End of Arm Tooling and fixtures.
- Understand and support the manufacturing process and its components.
- Back up and optimize automation programs.
- Utilize vision inspection systems for quality control.
- Identify and resolve automation system issues.
- Calibrate equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Automation integration and set up of new machines
- Back up & optimism automation programs
Required Education & Experience:
- Proven experience in automation technology and maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong background in plastics processing.
- Experience with KUKA and Krauss Maffei robots (three to six axes) is essential
- Solid knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems, including vacuum systems.
- Expertise in automated quality inspection systems.
- Proficient with equipment monitoring systems.
